Wandsworth

Wandsworth is the home to some of the most sought after townhouses in London in an area adjacent to Wandsworth Common in an area know as ‘the Toast Rack’. Located near Bellevue Road there are a wide variety of boutiques and the famous restaurant Chez Bruce, formerly Harveys, where Gordon Ramsay began his career. One of Wandsworth’s most famous landmarks is the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building, now converted to flats and a theatre school.

The residential area around Old York Road and Wandsworth Town has a village feel with independent shops, cafes and restaurants at its centre and many fine Victorian properties. More recent additions to the skyline are the luxury riverside developments. These include Battersea Reach where we currently manage in excess of 80 apartments and always have a selection of property available for sale or rental.

Battersea Reach has fine luxury residential apartments, commercial and retail space; covering in excess of 13 landscaped acres. The area was formerly a Gin Distillery, oil depot and warehousing, these buildings were demolished in 1992. The site was abandoned until 2002 when St. George, one of London’s leading developers of luxury homes began construction of the Battersea Reach development.

Nearby Wandsworth High Street has recently undergone complete regeneration with renovation of the Southside shopping centre, including a cinema and restaurant complex.

Wandsworth Town Mainline Station provides excellent links to the city in to Waterloo, or to Victoria via Vauxhall. There are also excellent bus links across Wandsworth Bridge to Chelsea Harbour, Earls Court and Fulham Broadway.
