Battersea, SW11

Battersea SW11 lies on the south bank of the river Thames with Wandsworth to the west and Vauxhall to the east and due south from fashionable Fulham and Chelsea. There are several famous landmarks which make Battersea truly recognisable and unique, in particular the imposing Battersea Power Station built between 1929 and 1939. This coal fired power station was in continuous use producing electricity until 1983 since when it has remained empty and is now derelict, despite successive attempts to redevelop the Grade II* listed building.

To the west is the spectacular 200 acre Battersea Park: a very special green oasis with fine trees and gardens. It is the home to a children’s zoo and boating lake as well as numerous all weather sporting facilities including running tracks, tennis courts, Astroturf and football pitches.

Battersea has many fine riverside apartments offering superb river views towards Chelsea and Fulham.

Our office is on the banks of the Thames adjacent to Battersea Heliport. You will find us within the landmark Bridges Wharf building which comprises 266 one and two bedroom apartments as well as the Battersea Crowne Plaza Hotel.
